Cookbooks

I love food! I love to cook it, I love to talk about it, I love to read about it and of course, I love to eat it.

I didn’t always love to cook. It wasn’t until I started to work in the food service industry (restaurants) that I wanted to try to learn to cook. I didn’t want to be a chef, I just wanted to be able to turn out a good – no, great meal for friends and of course as a young, single girl – boyfriends.

Well, I am no longer particularly young or single but there is nothing that can give me greater satisfaction than having friends gathered around my table happy and satisfied.

I use cookbooks for ideas and inspiration and I thought I would start to post about them as some of them I love and some are a waste of time. Some are difficult where they don’t need to be but most are good and do exactly what they should for the home cook.
